James P. Walker, CFP has been providing financial advice and insurance services to his clients in Tucson since 1961, when he started his career as an independent insurance broker. Jim founded his own firm in 1965 and adopted the name Financial Architects, in 1973. Through consistent effort and outstanding service, he has built a solid base of long-term clients. As Jim explains, "With new clients I use a financial planning approach, matching investment strategies with individual goals, objectives, and risk tolerance. These considerations are the key, whether the client is a new investor just getting started or a high-net-worth individual who will require comprehensive planning and asset management."
Effective financial planning starts with information gathering. We'll work together to create a complete picture of your goals, as well as your current financial position, portfolio holdings, income needs, tax situation and relative tolerance for investment risk.
We'll share our knowledge of a wide range of insurance and investment vehicles that might serve your objectives. Once your plan takes shape, we'll monitor for possible changes in circumstances. We always recommend at least an annual review meeting to stay abreast of developments in your life and the continued effectiveness of your plan.

Designing and communicating a meaningful employee benefits program is key to attracting and retaining talented associates and enhancing their efforts with a sense of loyalty and gratification. But, this is not a simple task. Every business is unique when it comes to defining the package of benefits that best serve the needs of employees within the context of the business owners' objectives and financial imperatives.
Our job is to help balance key considerations of cost, ease of administration, regulatory compliance, and recognition of real value across the enterprise.
